Soy Amino Acids Complex 16-0-0
A dry, water-soluble soy protein hydrolysate and plant biostimulant that delivers nitrogen as free L-amino acids and small peptides, already in the form plants absorb and use directly.
Plant-based and vegan, compatible with organic, conventional, and hydroponic programs. Pairs cleanly with biological inputs and supports soil microbial activity.
Key Benefits
-
100% water soluble: dissolves fully and runs cleanly through drip, fertigation, and foliar systems with no residue or clogging
-
Faster stress recovery: helps plants bounce back from transplant shock, drought, heat, cold, and salinity stress
-
Stronger root development: promotes fine root mass, root branching, and water uptake
-
Improved chlorophyll production: greener leaves and better photosynthetic efficiency
-
Higher nutrient use efficiency (NUE): amino acids chelate iron, zinc, manganese, and other micronutrients for better mobility inside the plant
-
Active soil biology: feeds beneficial microbes and supports microbial diversity
-
Stable nitrogen source: stays in the root zone where biology can use it, with minimal leaching and volatilization losses
Enzymatic Hydrolysis
This product is produced through enzymatic hydrolysis. Acid hydrolysis is cheaper but destroys some amino acids in the process. Enzymatic hydrolysis preserves them in their natural L-form, the biologically active form plants absorb directly. Pre-formed amino acids also save the plant the metabolic energy of building them from scratch, redirecting that energy to growth, flowering, and fruiting.
How to Use
Apply frequently at lower rates rather than occasionally at high rates. Benefits build with consistent use as soil biology and nutrient efficiency improve. Works in soil, container, and hydroponic systems.
Soil Application
Root Feed / Soil Drench
0.5-1 g/L applied to the root zone during regular watering. For vegetables and fruiting crops, begin 14-21 days after transplant and continue every 7-14 days through fruit set and sizing.
Field-Scale Use
2-3 kg/ha (1.8-2.7 lb/acre). Runs cleanly through drip, trickle, and sprinkler systems with no residue or clogging.
Foliar Application
General Foliar Spray
0.5-1 g/L. Apply early morning or evening, full coverage on tops and undersides of leaves, every 10-14 days. Scale back or stop once flowers are fully open to avoid spray residue on buds or fruit.
Field Scale
2-3 kg/ha (1.8-2.7 lb/acre) in 100 L water or enough for adequate coverage. Tank-mix compatible with most conventional inputs.
Crop Timing
Vegetables: First application 10-14 days after transplant, then 3-4 applications at 10-14 day intervals from early flowering through fruit sizing.
Broadacre crops: Apply at seedling establishment, early vegetative growth, and again at flowering or fruit set.
Orchards, bush fruit, vineyards: Apply at budbreak, young fruit stage, and again during sizing.
Hydroponics and Cannabis

Tank-Mix Compatibility
This product has broad tank-mix compatibility and mixes cleanly with most water-soluble organic inputs, including humic and fulvic acids, kelp extracts, silica, molasses, fish hydrolysates, microbial inoculants, and other amendments. Minimal pH impact at typical use rates.
Guaranteed Minimum Analysis
-
Total Nitrogen (N): 16%
-
Amino Acids: 80% (vegetable protein hydrolysate)
Storage and Safety
Store cool and dry, sealed between uses. Product can absorb moisture and clump if left open. Still usable if it clumps, just dissolves more easily when kept dry. Wear a dust mask and gloves when handling dry powder. Wash with soap and water on skin contact. Keep out of reach of children and animals.
