5:1 Cal-Mag (Coarse) pH-Up
Slow-Release Grade Coarse particles deliver steady, long-term pH adjustment and sustained Calcium and Magnesium availability. Ideal for garden beds, lawns, and field applications.
A coarse blend of dolomitic lime and limestone, formulated at the ideal 5:1 ratio. This product is designed for lawns, garden beds, and larger soil applications where a slower, more gradual release is beneficial. It is best suited for soils deficient in Calcium and Magnesium, and with a pH below the ideal range.
The coarse texture allows for steady pH adjustment over time, supporting consistent root development and improved plant health while increasing available calcium and magnesium in balanced proportions.
APPLICATION:
In the Garden: Apply 400–600 g per 10 m² (1–1.5 lbs per 100 ft²). For ongoing pH maintenance, test soil and reapply as needed seasonally. The coarse format is ideal for pre-plant soil prep or top dressing.
For Pots and Containers: Mix lightly into soil at a reduced rate or use during initial soil blending. Not intended for quick pH correction in small volumes due to slower breakdown.
Field & Large-Scale Use: Suitable for agricultural fields, pastures, and large growing areas where gradual pH adjustment is desired. Apply 500–2,000 lbs per acre depending on soil conditions, or as recommended by a soil test. For best results, broadcast evenly and incorporate into the soil prior to planting.
Adjusting Soil pH: Most garden plants prefer a soil pH between 6.0 and 7.0. We recommend performing a complete soil analysis or using a home soil pH test kit before application.
