How It Works
Spidex Vital Go utilizes sachets containing Phytoseiulus persimilis, a predatory mite that targets the destructive two-spotted spider mite. Unlike conventional solutions, Spidex Vital Go allows these beneficial mites to multiply within the sachet, ensuring a sustained and consistent release throughout the crop during 2 weeks. By applying the sachets at the first sign of spider mite presence or hotspot formation, growers can prevent severe infestations before they take hold.
Spidex Vital Go predatory mites are born to fight. As they feed on spider mites, their colour changes to a distinctive red-orange hue, offering a visible sign of their efficacy.
Suggested Application Rate
The dosage of Spidex Vital Go depends on climate, crop, and pest density and should always be adjusted to the particular situation.
Approximately 2.5–1 sachet per m² if plants are touching and have formed a canopy.
1 sachet per plant if the leaves are not touching.
Instructions for Use
Hang sachets in and around first spider mite hotspots, in sheltered locations in the crop, away from direct sunlight. Do not open sachets — each has a pre-punched exit hole. Hold sachets by the cardboard strip to avoid damage. Apply every two weeks for ongoing control.
Spidex Vital Go is also compatible with Spidex Vital bottles, making it a flexible and versatile tool for growers.
Shelf Life
Use within 1–2 days of arrival. Store at 8–10°C in a dark place if not used immediately.

What to Expect Upon Arrival
This product arrives as Phytoseiulus persimilis sachets. Do not open the sachets; they are designed with exit holes for mites to disperse naturally. Little or no visible movement on the outside is normal until the sachets are placed in the crop.
Important Notes
We import most biological controls fresh to help ensure customers receive active, viable beneficial insects, mites, and nematodes. Because these are living products with limited shelf life, we do not keep most biologicals stocked in-house.
Please inspect your package and product immediately upon arrival, before release. If you have any concerns about condition or viability, contact us before releasing at admin@optimizeorganics.ca with your order number and clear photos of the package and product. Once beneficials have been released, it becomes much more difficult for us to assess their condition on arrival.
Biological pest control is rarely a one-and-done release. In most active pest situations, sequential releases are needed to build and maintain beneficial populations while pest eggs continue to hatch and existing pest pressure is reduced.
Avoid spraying pesticides, oils, soaps, or other residues immediately before or after release unless compatibility has been confirmed, as these may harm beneficials.
