Manganese Sulphate (MnSO₄·H₂O) is a fine powder, fertilizer-grade source of manganese, guaranteed at 32% Mn with 18% sulphur. It corrects manganese deficiency in soil and crops when soil or tissue analysis confirms the need. Manganese availability is closely tied to soil pH, so apply it only against a documented deficiency and at rates matched to that analysis.
The Role of Manganese
Manganese is an essential micronutrient that activates many enzyme systems and is a direct component of others. It is central to photosynthesis, where it drives the reaction that splits water and releases oxygen, and it is needed for lignin formation, which strengthens cell walls, as well as root growth and nitrogen metabolism. Deficiency shows first as interveinal yellowing on younger leaves and is most common on high-pH, sandy, and organic peat or muck soils.
Application
This product may be used to correct soil and/or foliar deficiencies as determined by soil and/or tissue analysis. Interpretation of soil and/or tissue analysis and application recommendations should be made by Certified Crop Advisors, Professional Agronomists, or county agricultural representatives. Use Only in Blended Fertilizers.
