ACTIVATED EFFECTIVE MICROBES (EM1)
Brewed Fresh In-House
BENEFITS
- Microorganisms: AEM1 is a combination of naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms that include lactic acid bacteria, phototropic bacteria, yeasts, fermentative fungi, and actinomycetes. These microorganisms work together synergistically to improve soil health, plant growth, and crop yield. They help create a more balanced and diverse soil microbiome, which can improve nutrient cycling, disease resistance, and overall ecosystem functioning. Applied as a foliar spray AEM1 can colonize leaf surfaces to protect plants from disease and pathogens
-
Soil Structure: AEM1 can improve soil structure and porosity, which enhances water infiltration and retention. This is important because it allows plant roots to better access water and nutrients in the soil. AEM1 can also help to reduce soil compaction, which can lead to increased air exchange and root growth.
-
Organic Matter: AEM1 helps break down organic matter in the soil, making nutrients more available to plants. Microorganisms in AEM1 are involved in the decomposition of organic matter, releasing nutrients that plants need to grow. This process also helps to improve soil structure and porosity, as mentioned above.
-
Pathogens: AEM1 can suppress harmful soil-borne pathogens, such as Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, and Pythium. Many microorganisms in AEM1 have the ability to produce antibiotics and other compounds that can inhibit the growth of plant pathogens. This can help to reduce disease incidence and severity, leading to healthier plants and higher yields.
-
Plant Growth-Promoting Substances: AEM1 helps plants by producing plant growth-promoting substances such as auxins, gibberellins, and cytokinins. These substances are naturally produced by plants and help regulate growth and development. By producing these substances, AEM1 can help to enhance plant growth and development, leading to higher yields and better quality crops.
-
Environmental Stresses: AEM1 can help plants resist environmental stresses such as drought, salinity, and extreme temperatures. Microorganisms in AEM1 help plants by producing compounds that protect against environmental stresses. For example, some microorganisms can produce osmolytes that help plants tolerate drought or salinity. This can be particularly beneficial in areas with high levels of environmental stress.
-
Applications: AEM1 can be used in various applications, including agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, composting, and wastewater treatment. AEM1 is a versatile product that can be used in many different contexts. It can be applied to the soil, plant roots, or as a foliar spray. It can also be used to enhance composting or to improve water quality in wastewater treatment.
